Structural capacity check & strengthening of masonry buildings in Vatheia, Lakonia

These are masonry buildings from the late 19th century. Due to the lack of support measures and the excessive exposure to natural phenomena that led to partial collapse, the structural capacity check was essential which led to the necessity for structural strengthening measures. Very demanding restrictions on materials and strengthening measures in order to be aligned with traditional local practices.
